The BREP Program was invited to participate in the activities organized to celebrate the Third Anniversary of the Diabetes Center for Puerto Rico. One of the main activities was the presentation of the book: "Antología de Investigaciones del Centro de Diabetes para Puerto Rico", which includes the epidemiological and clinical studies conducted at the Center.
In her message to the public, Dr. Emma Fernández-Repollet, Principal Investigator of the BREP Program and Vice President for Research and Technology, emphasized the impact of the Diabetes Center in the prevention and treatment of diabetes in Puerto Rico.
Another activity associated with the Anniversary consisted of an Open House. In this event, the BREP Program was able to distribute the latest volume of the BIOMED Comic Book series: Diabetic Danger. The comic book was received with great enthusiasm by the visitors.
